The Vision

Isis is the supreme mistress of magic. Because of her, each spring the flowers bloom, new creatures are born, and the world is made fertile and bountiful once again. Isis’ voluptuous heart embraces all living things as her children. From the tiniest creature to the tallest mountain top, the deepest ocean to the lushness of the Amazonian forest, everything moves in a continuous spiral path of birth, death, and rebirth. Isis is devoted to unconditional, everlasting love. All acts in her name and spirit are life giving and support the continuation of life as we know it here on Earth.

At the changing of the seasons into springtime 2024, Isis will be revealed on top of Dove Mountain at her own sacred elemental temple. Presently, Isis is veiled as she awaits her throne to be erected above the water temple, the last elemental temple that was a part of the original vision over a decade ago!

The condensed version of a very big vision, is the creation story of how Venus Rising's Elemental Temples came to be born. It was sometime in 2008 that Star Wolf embarked on a Shamanic Breathwork journey.

It was in this journey where she saw the whole world burning; plagued and suffering. Star Wolf became the Egyptian goddess, Sekhmet, and laid ruin to the world that was responsible for such devastation of the planet. Wild with blood lust and fury, Star Wolf (as Sekhmet), was raised up by Isis, as a hissing lioness held within the fingers of the great Egyptian goddess and mother to all things, Isis.

Isis shared her vision with me and spoke the following words that burned themselves into my heart, mind and soul… “Build the elemental temples, and they will come!”

When Star Wolf asked, "what temples and who will come…," she was given a powerful vision and command to create the Elemental Temples that honored the sacred elements of water, earth, fire, and air. When Star Wolf asked who will come, she was told that people who have pure hearts, minds, and spirits would magically show up and be supportive as Star Wolf stayed true to the heart of the vision she had been given.

There have been many twists and turns, light and shadow, on this journey of 16 years, and finally, the Elemental Temples will be completed!

We will unveil a beautiful statue of Isis which will be located above the Healing Waters Temple (VR's waterfall) and will complete Star Wolf's soul agreement given to her in her SBW Vision from Isis.

We will host 20 shamanic souls who feel called to undergo a shamanic death and rebirth March 21-27 as Isis is revealed and activated within our hearts.

Dove Mountain, Home to Venus Rising

During our time together, we will be nestled within the magical Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, home to Venus Rising's Community and Elemental Temples.

Venus Rising is home to multiple communities on the mountain. Dove Mountain and Isis Cove community were created by Star Wolf and Tribe, in efforts to protect the land and offer a serene sanctuary surrounded by Nature. Within the community lives Staff of Venus Rising, along with other like-minded community members who have participated in our programs to varying degrees

We are blessed with a wide assortment of creatures teachers, including foxes, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, lizards, snakes, turtles, hawks, owls, wild turkeys, crows, turkey vultures, eagles, blue herons and a variety of songbirds. Our sacred temples, held within nature, creates the perfect space to drop in, heal, transform, and awaken your shaman within!

Accomadations

Venus Rising's Accommodations are nestled throughout our community mountain. Each space is quant in its own rustic way, holding 3-4 beds and access to a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom.

All accommodations are within walking distance to Venus Rising’s Elemental Temples, offering epic vistas and views of the Great Smokey Mountains.

Together in this magical environment, we’ll have the opportunity to laugh, learn, and bond with our shamanic tribe.

*Staying on-site is a requirement for the program, unless otherwise discussed.

Meals

Lunch and Dinner are included in the cost of the program. Each day, healthy and delicious meals will be catered to nourish our bodies. Meals are be served buffet-style and will consist of natural, wholesome, organic foods in a delightful array of Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Meat choices.. Meals will be primarily made with organic food sourced locally.

Community meals will be perfect for getting to know your fellow tribe members and exploring the natural beauty of the retreat center grounds, together and on your own. Fresh and healthy as can be, mealtime will be a highlight of your stay here.

**Breakfast is not included. All students will have access to fully stocked kitchens to care for their morning needs.

About your Shamanic Guide

Linda Star Wolf

Linda Star Wolf has been a visionary teacher and shamanic guide to thousands of people over the last 40 years. Star Wolf created the Shamanic Breathwork Process as a synthesis of her personal exploration and direct healing experiences with breathwork, shamanic wisdom, depth psychology and addictions recovery methods. With over 40 years of recovery from her own experience with addictions, Star Wolf has dedicated her life to helping others to release dysfunctional patterns of all kinds and to radically transform their lives. She teaches people how to awaken to the bigger picture, embody their own inner Visionary Shaman and step into a life of passionate purpose.
