Welcome to The Fortuna Villa Experience; An intimate, personally curated retreat on Portugal’s magical Silver Coast, created and hosted by Nikólaus & Star Wolf.
Fortuna Villa is our home, our sanctuary, and a place where earth, ocean, sky and Spirit meet.
Here, we invite a small number of guests at a time to step away from ordinary life, listen deeply, dream again, and open to the possibilities calling them into their next chapter.
*This is not a large-group retreat or a fixed itinerary.
Each 6–8 day experience is created personally for 2–6 people, allowing us to shape your journey around who you are, what you are seeking, and what wants to unfold while you are here.
ENTER THE LAND OF THE DRAGON

Portugal is an ancient land of ocean, stone, serpent and dragon. We will explore wild stretches of the Silver Coast, walk beaches of extraordinary beauty, and gather beneath sunsets that turn the Atlantic horizon into fire.
At times, we may find ourselves on a beach with scarcely another soul in sight.
There are ancient rock formations and protected spaces along the coast where, when conditions allow, we can enter into ceremony together. Some naturally evoke the archetype of the womb: places for surrender, reflection, release and symbolic rebirth.
The land itself becomes part of the retreat. Rather than rushing from one attraction to another, we slow down enough to listen.

Your experience can reach beyond Fortuna Villa.
We may spend a day exploring Lisbon, with its hills, tiled streets, ancient neighborhoods, waterfront and layers of spiritual and cultural history.
Other journeys might lead us toward the mystical landscape of Sintra, the medieval walls and winding streets of Óbidos, castles and sacred sites, or unexpected places that reveal themselves as we continue exploring this remarkable country.
We are especially interested in the older stories beneath the familiar ones: the relationship between land and water, serpent and dragon symbolism, feminine mysteries, sacred springs, ancient stones, and places where pre-Christian traditions and later spiritual traditions seem to touch.
The itinerary is not designed simply around what tourists are “supposed” to see.

Because we have made the international move ourselves, guests who are genuinely considering living abroad can choose to include informal conversations about our own experience of relocating internationally and establishing a new life in Portugal.
We can share the broad picture of what we learned, what surprised us, what we would do differently, and some of the practical questions worth exploring.
For those wanting specialized assistance, we can help identify appropriate independent professionals for areas requiring legal, immigration, financial or real-estate expertise.

Meet your Shamanic Guides
Linda Star Wolf & Nikólaus Star Wolf
For the past 15 years, Nikólaus & Star Wolf have shared a life devoted to love, transformation, spiritual exploration and helping others discover what is possible in their own lives.
Together, they have guided retreats, trainings and transformational experiences around the world, blending Star Wolf’s decades of pioneering work in Shamanic Breathwork® and shamanic spirituality with Nikólaus’s gifts for creating, organizing and holding the spaces where meaningful experiences can unfold.
Their journey has also been deeply personal. Through years of adventure, challenge, loss, reinvention and dreaming together, they have continually been called to ask the same questions they invite others to explore: What is ready to be released? What is asking to be born? And what does it mean to truly follow the call of your life?
That journey eventually brought them across the Atlantic to Portugal, where they created Fortuna Villa as their home, sanctuary and the beginning of a new chapter.
Today, they invite others into that chapter, not simply as retreat leaders but as hosts and fellow travelers sharing the land, the practices, the conversations, the laughter and the unexpected moments that have shaped their own journey.

Rooted in Fortuna—fortune, fate, and the unexpected turns that shape our lives—each journey creates space to follow what is calling, without needing to know exactly where it will lead. At Fortuna Villa, you are invited to dream, explore, and open yourself to the magic of what might be waiting just beyond the life you already know.
The Fortuna Villa Experience is individually designed around you. Final pricing will depend upon the length of your stay, number of guests and the experiences you choose to include.
Specialized services including massage, sound healing, private yoga or movement, outside practitioners, transportation, restaurant meals, admission fees and certain excursions may be included in your customized experience or quoted separately.
As part of the enrollment process, Nikólaus & Star Wolf will meet with you to explore your intentions, interests and dreams for your time in Portugal. From there the co-creating of your personal journey begins!​
